✨ ISLM 2026 International Poster Making Contest - Call for Entries ✨

The International School Library Month (ISLM) 2026 International Poster Making Contest is now open!

We invite students from around the world to celebrate the power of libraries, literacy, creativity, and innovation through art.

   Theme

Libraries, Literacy and Artificial Intelligence

Participants are encouraged to create original posters exploring how libraries, reading, and Artificial Intelligence are shaping learning, creativity, global citizenship, and the future of knowledge.

   Who Can Participate?

Students worldwide in the following age categories:

  • 6–8 years
  • 9–12 years
  • 13–15 years
  • 16–18 years

✨ Submission Guidelines

✔️ Original artwork only
✔️ Handmade posters using traditional art materials
✔️ Submit a scanned copy in JPEG or PNG format (minimum 300 dpi)
✔️ Include a brief description of your poster (maximum 100 words)

❌ No AI-generated artwork
❌ No copyrighted characters or images
❌ No photographs, digital artwork, or 3D objects

⚠️ Entries submitted as photographs or low-resolution images will not be accepted.

   Bonus: Share Your Story

Participants may submit a short video (up to 2 minutes) introducing themselves, their school and country, and explaining the inspiration behind their poster.

Selected videos may be featured on ISLM platforms and social media.

   Recognition

  • Digital certificates for all participants
  • International recognition for selected entries
  • Outstanding posters will be showcased during ISLM 2026 celebrations

   Important Date

Submission Deadline: 15 August 2026

All entries will first undergo national selection before advancing to international evaluation by an expert jury.
