About the Initiative

International School Library Month (ISLM) celebrates the invaluable role of school libraries in promoting reading, literacy, creativity, inquiry and lifelong learning. It brings together school librarians, educators and students from across the world to celebrate the power of books and the connections they create.

As part of its commitment to innovative and engaging reading experiences, ISLM is pleased to introduce a new initiative in collaboration with BookJi.

This collaboration invites educators and school librarians to explore BookJi, discover its possibilities for their learning communities and consider how the platform can complement their school library programmes and reading activities.

The initiative aims to encourage students to engage meaningfully with reading, support educators in fostering reading habits and create opportunities for school communities to explore new approaches to literacy.

Whether you are a school librarian, classroom teacher, reading coordinator or educator passionate about books, we invite you to explore this opportunity and bring your readers into the experience.
