The Bookmark Exchange can become a broader cultural and educational experience.
Schools are encouraged to include friendly messages, greetings, reading recommendations, or cultural information with their bookmarks.
Students may learn about their partner school's country, community, traditions, language, books, authors, festivals, or school environment.
Partner schools may mutually develop additional activities, such as:
joint storytelling;
book recommendations;
cultural presentations;
library introductions;
student-to-student messages;
virtual meetings;
collaborative reading activities; or
other age-appropriate learning experiences.
These additional activities are optional and should be arranged directly between partner schools.
