Regional conferences 2012

Zimbabwe -- 8 to 9 February 2012

You are cordially invited to join us for this professional experience - a joint seminar with the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) Africa Sub Sahara Region and the Zimbabwe Library Association (ZimLA).

The theme is School libraries in the 21st century: learning from each other at Masiyephambili College, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, 8 - 9 February 2012.

The Zimbabwe Library Association in conjunction with the International Association of School Librarianship Africa Sub Sahara region will host a Regional School Library Seminar, an event that will allow school librarians, school library media specialists, teacher librarians, library and information science lecturers, university and polytechnic/college librarians, public librarians, library science students and all those interested in school librarianship to meet and learn from each other, share ideas and aspirations on all aspects of school librarianship in Zimbabwe, Africa and the world over.

Conference fees

The conference is accompanied by an exhibition by various booksellers, publishers, printers, suppliers of computer accessories and other interested stakeholders from all sectors of the economy. The fees are inclusive of conference materials, teas and luncheons. Fees are exclusive of accommodation, travel costs or the book of abstracts.
