On 25th October two artists, the Art teacher, Sandra Longras, a plastic artist, and the excellent writer, the student Inês Pereira, who attends now the 10th grade in a secondary school, joined in a special moment. Inês Pereira and the guitar become inseparable friends and writing happens through his wisehand. A group of students from the 5th until the 7th grade (age-range 10/13) listened attentively to both. To commemorate the National Day of the school library, October 24, we received the teacher Manuel Antonio Castanheira who told stories, sang and played the guitar. A group of students of the primary school enjoyed the moment a lot. To motivate students to read with joy was the main purpose of the activity.
Our School Library embraced the activity "Get up and act" to commemorate the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (October 17). Our students wrote their opinions in a common text with the title: “Bem -me -quer!”. They gave suggestions on how to fight poverty .
