2003 Annual Conference, Durban, South Africa, 7-11 July 2003

OUR VIRTUAL CONFERENCE SESSION

Join us from anywhere in the world for our virtual conference session during the conference week.

During the Durban conference, IASL will be offering a free virtual conference session for IASL members who are unable to attend the conference in person. This virtual conference sessions will consist of the Keynote Paper from Dr Ross Todd (which will be available on this IASL conference web site during the conference week), and an email discussion throughout the week on IASL-LINK (the discussion list for IASL members). Ross will be available during the week to respond to questions and to matters raised in the discussion. The email messages will also be posted to the web site each day for the benefit of those who are not reading the messages on IASL-LINK, and they will also be printed out and mounted on a bulletin board at the conference venue for the benefit of delegates. A final summary of discussion will be provided (by email and on the web site) at the end of the week.

The Moderator for the virtual conference session will be Barbara Braxton of Australia. She will be online through the conference week should you need assistance or information. Barbara is Teacher-Librarian at Palmerston District Primary School in the Australian Capital Territory, and she will be moderating the virtual conference from her home.
