Registration information

Due to a requirement of the conference venue to finalise all catering, registration for the conference closed on 12 September 2010.

Full registration entitles a participant to:

  • attend the welcome reception and opening of the Trade Exhibition
  • attend all keynote and concurrent sessions
  • conference satchel and proceedings
  • admission to the Trade Exhibition
  • lunch, morning and afternoon teas
  • wireless access.

Single day registration entitles a participant to:

  • attend keynote and concurrent sessions on chosen day
  • conference satchel
  • admission to the Trade Exhibition on the day for which registration has been paid
  • lunch, morning and afternoon tea on chosen day
  • wireless access.

Note: The association is required to collect Goods and Services Tax (GST) on all registrations. This amount is not refundable to overseas visitors when they leave the country. Amounts are in Australian dollars.

Full registration - * member (early bird) [Early bird registration closed 30 April 2010]
Full registration - * member ($ 520 + $ GST 52) = $ 572
Full registration - non-member ($ 660 + GST $ 66) = $ 726
Single day registration - * member ( $ 210 + GST $ 21) = $ 231 per person per day (Applies to Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)
Single day registration - non-member ($ 260 + GST $ 26) = $ 286 per person per day (Applies to Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)
Friday registration - * member ($ 105 + GST $ 10.50) = $ 115.50 per person per day (Applies to Friday only)
Friday registration - non-member ($ 130 + GST $ 13) = $ 143 per person per day (Applies to Friday only)
Full registration - speaker rate only ($ 440 + GST $ 44) = $ 484 (available to the main presenter and one accompanying presenter, where applicable)

* Member rates apply if you are, or your organisation is, a current financial member of the School Library Association of Queensland (SLAQ), International Association of School Librarianship (IASL), Australian School Library Association (ASLA) Member Associations, Childrens' Book Council Australia (CBCA) or Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE).

Optional extras:

Pre-conference workshops, Monday 27 September 2010 - $ 88 per person
School and bus tours, Monday 27 September 2010 - $ 66 per person
Walking tour, Monday 27 September 2010 - $ 22 per person
Note: All pre-conference workshops and tours include a packed lunch.

Author breakfast, Wednesday 29 September 2010, 7.00 am to 9.25 am - $ 38.50 per person

Conference dinner, Thursday 30 September 2010, 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm - $ 77 per person

Cancellations:

  • cancellations received before 31 August 2010 will attract an administration fee of $110
  • no refunds will be made for cancellations received after 31 August 2010.
