IASL Auction

Would you like to help a colleague to join IASL...to come to a conference...to get published...to be able to contact other members in the organisation....to begin the formation of a school library association in your local area?

Bring an "item" for the annual IASL Auction at the IASL Conference. The money we raise will go to the Support-A-Member or other worthy IASL projects that are designed to help people in developing countries meet and share with others.

The "item" for the auction should be easily portable. You have to bring it in your suitcase. Someone else has to take it home in his/her suitcase. It could represent your region, school, libraries in general, or be of cultural interest.

Use your imagination; be creative and we will see how much money the auctioneer, Gerald Brown, is able to source from the conference delegates and friends.

The IASL Auction began at the Malaysia conference in 1989 and has raised over USD 30,000 in that time. Come and have some fun.

There will be items that will be part of the silent auction, the raffle and the public auction.

Bring your item with you to the registration desk when you arrive in Taiwan, so that it can be exhibited for all to see well in advance of the auction events.

If you have any questions please contact Gerald Brown.
