Details of the purposes of each award are provided on these Web pages. Applicants should follow the instructions given on the page for each award. Applications should take the form of a letter of application. Applicants are asked to read the criteria carefully and to address the criteria by stating clearly how their application meets them. They should also indicate what the potential benefit would be of their being successful in their application. Two letters of reference or support from relevant individuals or associations should be provided with the application.
Applicants should address their letter and supporting documentation to the Chairperson of the Awards Committee of the International Association of School Librarianship. Applications may be in print or electronic form. Applications that meet the stated criteria will be forwarded to the appropriate Awards Selection Panel.
Applicants should be sure to include name of the contact person, mailing address, telephone number(s), fax number, and electronic mail address as available, with the application.
The deadline for receipt of applications each year is April 1.
