This section of School Libraries Online contains photographs and links to photographs of school libraries around the world. The suggestion for this international Picture Gallery of School Libraries came from IASL Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, Margaret Baffour-Awuah (Botswana), who thought that such a collection of photographs might be of use to people who are planning for a new school library or renovating an old school library. The section is currently under development; the Webmaster invites submission of suitable photographs. Note that if people appear in the photographs then you do have to ask their permission before sending the photographs. Photographs should be scanned small, should be no more than 400 pixels on the longest side, and saved in .jpg format. Captions should accompany the photographs. Contact the Webmaster before sending any material.
